Forged from experience

Swiss Fineblanking Technology SA rises from the legacy of Feintool Technologie AG and Qcision AG, carrying forward decades of precision engineering.

CONTINUITY

SFBT exists to keep every fineblanking press, spare part, and service call performing to the standard our clients have trusted for generations — while investing in the people, talent, and partnerships that carry that standard forward.

FOUNDATION

Built on a bedrock of proven technology

Our roots trace back to Hügi & Bösch, the workshop where the fineblanking approach was first developed. That expertise was carried forward under Feintool Technology AG, and refined for decades more as Qcision AG. When Qcision entered bankruptcy proceedings, we acquired the complete intellectual property, patents, and technical documentation — the genuine article, backed by 67 years of engineering know-how.

Alongside this fineblanking heritage, Ferrari & Carena brings more than 75 years of industrial engineering experience. Founded in Turin in 1950, Ferrari & Carena built its reputation on the production and reproduction of large mechanical components, spare parts, and precision-machined parts for machine tools, presses, and industrial equipment. Its long-standing expertise in mechanical machining, combined with a worldwide service presence, adds a strong foundation of practical engineering knowledge to SFBT.

Today, our engineering and service team includes former Qcision professionals who designed, commissioned, and maintained your equipment. That expertise was carried forward under Feintool Technology AG and Qcision AG for decades refining it.
